About half my furniture pieces are commissions and half are ideas I've felt compelled to see manifested.
I communicate with clients using sketches of ideas sent by e-mail and I'm very diligent about photographing each step of the fabrication process to keep them informed of progress.
Made this Pavilion Table yesterday before the rain started. You can just barely make out the striated horizontal lines on the legs because they were plasma-cut from a big 3/4" steel plate. It is titled Pavilion table because it's higher than a coffee table and meant to be an entrance table usually with a big vase of flowers on it. the glass is 36" in diameter and it stands 32.5 inches high. This piece is currently for sale. |
