All my jewelry is fabricated in stainless steel.My curious jeweler friends inevitably ask me "why on earth would you want to work in such an intractable medium"? My answer is invariabbly "because I can"...Stainless steel is generally hypo-allergenic,exceedingly durable, and provides interesting surface decoration possibilities.

Hexbar torc (neckring)

Here's another Celtic Torc made from forged stainless steel 5/16ths hexbar.
Notice the pronounced camber allowing the piece to sit down tighter on the neck and shoulders.
It's a stiff bar but flexible enough to open to put the neck ring on and off.
