This piece is a collaboration with my friend Arthur who has designed and built a machine to cut large slabs of stone.He cut and polished this stone top and I built the simple steel painted base.The slab is 46.5" at it's widest and 25" at it narrowest dimension.It is 2" thick.The base is an 8" square column and the overall height is 32".The stone weighs approximately 200lbs and I would guess the steel base is about 75lbs.
